LUNOVU - Integrated Laser Solutions

LUNOVU designs and builds complex laser systems, providing integrated solutions for customers in R&D and industry, in applications such as additive manufacturing or micro processing. Our unique products are based on high performance hardware, proprietary control software and application specific process know-how.

LUNOVU laser systems are based on a modular concept. The product portfolio covers 2 to 5 axes cartesian setups in various sizes. Additionally, systems based on articulated robots are available. By merging all critical system components, such as mechanics, electronics, controls, automation and process,  a truly integrated system is created which offers significant added value to our customers.

LUNOVU laser machines use latest technology. LMD systems for laser cladding, for example, are equipped with a unique sensor technology that scans and digitizes parts surfaces, and automatically calculates and executes welding paths.

FORMNEXT 2017: LMD technology and more

For four days, Frankfurt (Germany) is once more a center of additive manufacturing. From October 14 to 17, 2017,  at the FORMNEXT exhibition the latest developments in this rapidly growing area will be presented. Needless to say that LUNOVU participates as well! The technology enterprise based in Herzogenrath, Germany, will show its Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) technology in hall 3.0, booth 3.0-B24. The LUNOVU experts will be happy not only to explain the products, but also to discuss applications in research and industry.

LUNOVU LMD Technology at the 3D Valley Conference

LUNOVU is happy to announce its participation in the 3D Valley Conference held in Aachen, Germany, from September 27 to 29, 2017. LUNOVU's LMD (Laser Metal Deposition) technology will be demonstrated at the conference exhibition. Special insights into this additive manufacturing technology will be provided in a conference presentation entitled "Geometry detection and automated toolpath planning in LMD processes".

LUNOVU establishes LMD application laboratory

June 22, 2017

LUNOVU has launched its new application lab at its development and production site in Herzogenrath, Germany. In a first step an LMD system was put into operation which includes LUNOVU's proprietary technology components for work piece recognition and automated tool path generation.

"With the application laboratory we are now able to develop our technology much faster than before", states Dr. Oliver Steffens, managing director and responsible for technology development at LUNOVU. "Additionally, we can tackle customer and application specific development tasks, demonstrating the advantages of the LUNOVU technology".

LUNOVU at the UKP Workshop

April 25, 2017

Fort the 4th time, the international UKP workshop on ultrafast laser technology takes place in Aachen, Germany on April 26/27, 2017. Organized be the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology, it is a renowned forum for researchers in this area. LUNOVU will present its innovative micro processing systems at the workshop exhibition.
